Birds are chirping, bees are buzzing, and the sun is shining…spring is in the air! That means its finally time for Spring Cleaning! No one likes a stuffy dirty shed and we have our top 3 quick tips for making your storage shed more inviting.
Air it out!
Our storage sheds come with windows so why not use them! Open those bad boys up and let the fresh spring air inside. This seemingly obvious tip will make a world of difference when you get to tip #2!
Sweep the Floor!
Now that you’ve opened the windows and are enjoying the spring breeze its time to clean up the floor! Just cleaning the floor can make a huge difference in the visual appeal of your storage shed. Sweep out leaves, clean up those dried-up mud prints, and even sweep the cobwebs off the wall.
Clean those windows!
Don’t forget to wipe down the windows inside and out! Chances are they’ve accumulated fingerprints and dust over time. It’s also a good idea to wipe down the track as dust builds up in there over time which can cause issues with sticking in the future.
Bonus tip!
Utilize pegboards to remove clutter from the floor by hanging up tools and hanging containers to store small bits and pieces. You can also use pegboards to hang shelving for lightweight items.
